NAME: Wolfgang; real name: Ludwig
SERIES: Axis Powers Hetalia
PERSONALITY: Whether or not he is close to someone, Ludwig comes off as very stern and incredibly disciplined. He will follow the rules, pay direct attention to, and spend as much time as he can on anything in particular. He takes both work and play seriously, and he is so adamant it is near-impossible to change his character. He primarily doesn't get used to other customs, so whenever he is somewhere new he sticks out like a sore thumb.
Even though Ludwig likes to consider himself organized, on the top of things, and precise, there are certain aspects of his character that lead to his downfall. Although he is a perfectionist and somewhat of a pessimist by nature, Ludwig has a lot of faith in his comrades and will not stop trying even though things are bound to fail. He doesn't get used to peoples' mannerisms, and he is easily shocked, more or less giving the impression that he awaits things to improve the next time. Though normally stern and not very expressive of his sentiments, Ludwig is otherwise an open book; he will not only complain if something is totally wrong, but also show it all over his face. Although he genuinely tries to be patient – he has a lot of pent-up anger – it's easy to get the young man flustered, especially if something is outrageous or unexpected.
In terms of peoples' reactions to his behavior as an authority figure, it isn't usually taken very seriously and it seems as though he is overcompensating and even a little bit naive – a trait that he wouldn't acknowledge for a second. He is also sometimes ignored, because in some situations he will retort back his views on the subject at hand. As an exception to this, he will usually just glare at his superiors.
In Sol Invictus, and anywhere else for that matter, Ludwig acts exactly the same.
CLASS IN "SOL INVICTUS": King Cleaver
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES: As typical of a King Cleaver, he has a strong offense which makes him capable of downsizing anything with armor. In return, he has a decent defense a good amount of hit points on his shoulders. Yet, because offense is a major part of his character's advantages, his weapons are expensive and he has few antidotes for ailments in his inventory which slowly-yet-surely drains his health bar. While all of his solid attacks result in massive damage, he is quite slow and fast opponents are sure to get the upper hand.
BACKGROUND: In real life, Ludwig is a 20-year old German citizen living in the city of Berlin and the heir to a successful candy store he enjoys working at. Outside of Sol Invictus, he is generally good with technology because he's crashed two computers in his childhood and resorted to using a Linux system. Ludwig also has a large German Shepherd, and is usually away to give it walks. He is more experienced in European-made real-time simulation strategy games with a historical basis, and had a rare friendship with an unskilled player. Although “he” was somewhat of a burden, they had a tight pact that disappeared when his elder brother Gil stepped on his disc. Upon realization that a masterful player was on Sol Invictus by the same name – Veneziano – Ludwig decided to not only pursue his old friend from way back when and meet him again, but use such strength to his advantage.
The character model Wolfgang is a sharp-eyed, blonde-haired man wearing black gloves, a dark green tunic, scale mail, metallic black boots and a matching iron cross. He's armed with a huge sword requiring two hands he's affectionately named Kaiser. His character is currently set at level 24, high for a relatively new player and only getting better. Besides haunting all the dungeons he can and being a general annoyance to people who are complaining in towns, Ludwig is a rule fiend. He will criticize anything that constitutes as cheap, in a gray area, against the game policies or unfair. Nonetheless, there is one exception to this. He has such distaste for PKers, that he is slowly gaining interest in PKKing and it is especially reasonable to him because there is little to stop it. Yet the rumors stated Veneziano faded and came again, and if he recalled correctly Veneziano didn't support PKing's popularity. As the benefits of finding him came up, he was more intent on doing so.
Outside of battle, he visits Veles frequently for its alcohol and baked potatoes and Aurelia for the sake of upgrading and baking cake. In both towns, he will chastise players for trying to fight in them as a whole if it is commonplace. Because of this and taking the game so seriously, it's difficult for him to find teams and friends and keep them for a long time.
